Theatre for Everyone

Theatre for Everyone (1-8th grade)

Presenter: Maureen Nelson, Program Manager for arts-centered organization: Power of Hope

Hands-on:  In this high-energy workshop, students will play simple theatre games and activities set up for any skill level.  Mistakes are allowed and encouraged, and we plan to have lots of fun.  Students will practice skills in creativity, quick thinking, positive risk taking, self-confidence, story-telling and more.

This workshop can be set-up to occur one time, or over a few visits.  The longer I spend with your students, the further into the theme we will get.  With a one-time workshop we will be able to cover just the very basics.
